HED 906 - Stress Management

This course is designed to provide the student with the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills needed to teach their students about the detrimental effects that are associated with excessive levels of stress and tension.  Students will also learn how to manage a stress-free classroom to improve the learning experience.  Holistic stress reduction approaches will be presented which are designed to acquaint the individual with theory, technique, and teaching skills to deal with stress from a physical, emotional, and environmental perspective.

Credit: 3-semester units college credit
Fees: $460 ($375 tuition + $85 fees) - Students are required to purchase the text separately.
